Your situation in The Bunker is pretty grim: Evil Mr.Pig pressed the red button and a nuclear catastrophe is about to unravel! You have one hour to deactivate the missiles and save the world. To do that, you count on your team, your wits and on an incredible Nuclear Briefcase – but the thing is chained to a wall!

The first task is to find a way to unlock the briefcase. Once it is done, you have to carry it around to complete the deactivavtion process. The Nuclear Suitcase in The Bunker is one of the coolest props we’ve seen in a escape room. Basically, you carry half or your escape room with you all the time!

This room by Fox in a Box was thrilling, fun and a good surprise. I (Pá) usually do not have much interest for Cold War-like scenarios, but this one was so creative that I take my hat off! (Or should I say my helmet? :D)

You and your band of rogues are informed about a ‘behind-the-curtains’ room in the Florence Central Bank. Its vault guards a deposit of beautiful, sparkling diamonds, and the only person with access to that room is stinky Mr. Pig. You manage to turn the alarm off for 60 minutes while he’s away. Will you go in and take those beauties to yourself? If you do, better do it right, because the police is right behind you!

Fox in a Box’s Florence Central Bank allows you to be the bad guy for one hour – better in a escape room than in reality, right? On the way, be prepared to disarm and unlock a lot of fun traps and tricks!

It’s hard to write a harsh review. Any player would prefer to experience only good rooms and write good things about them. Looking for Venus was an awkward experience for us. We were extremely well treated by a lovely gamemaster at Lost Space – and that’s the reason we ended up having fun. However, the room was so bare… It was..’meh’.

In this room, Venus, the Roman goddess of love, is angry with humanity because they forgot the true meaning of love. In your dreams, you go to her temple to recover this secret and appease her wrath. And that’s what we found…

Adventure Rooms is a very popular Swiss franchise of escape games with venues all around the world. We heard about them when they opened in Adelaide (South Australia), but we have not had the chance to go there yet. So, when we found out they had a venue in Florence (where we were spending a few days), we decided to give it a go.

In the Black Queen game, the challenge is to use your senses to solve the puzzles around you and escape from the Queen’s prison. Of course, if you firstly manage to get rid of the handcuffs tying you and your team mates to the wall.
